LCH “8” are 8 minimum requirements for ALL LCH EMPLOYEES.

Zero “0” tolerance for Drugs and Alcohol, all High-Risk Work demands that all employees are not affected by Drugs and Alcohol. Employees have a responsibility to attend work in a manner that is compliant with Site and Industry Standards. All employees will be present to work with all the required PPE (personal protective equipment) and well presented in LCH clothing. 

LCH has high expectations and standards that set us apart from the rest of the Crane Industry. We expect courteous, non-argumentative interactions between employees and those we interact with. Our Company employees pride themselves on Teamwork and assisting all parties while engaged. 

A mandatory control for all LCH Assest, Cranes, Trucks, Light Vehicles and Lifting equipment WILL only be used if it is compliant with all WHS, Industry and Site requirements.  Employees are to manage working within their limits, when manual handling, if the task requires more than 1 person, then STOP, seek assistance and reevaluate task. If the task requires equipment, ensure all risks are mitigated through a JSA. 

it will be unacceptable for any employee to allow a risk to potentially occur without intervening/stopping. If there is a potential for an incident/ accident and it can be eliminated by saying something, stopping the job, or correcting the potential, then this must take place. 

Employees WILL not commence any task without first eliminating all possibilities of Fall/Drop Zones, Stored Energy, Load Size, Load Capacity and safe positioning of people and equipment. 

Employees WILL adhere to all Federal, State Local Road Laws and Conditions. All Employees WILL adhere to all site Traffic Rules/Controls when engaged at those respective sites. 

Employee/s will adhere to all reasonable and lawful directions. At LCH we believe that a culture of assisting and not hindering the important tasks of communicating is essential to our business’s success. We encourage cooperative communications; we also encourage helpful and insightful communication. LCH WILL not accept disrespectful behavior from our employees and will also not accept our employees to be disrespected while engaged. 

Employee/s are trained and competent to report damages, incidents, injuries/illness, Safety breaches and behavioral matters. It is MANDATORY that reporting of the above and the requirements of the reporting site, and our customer reporting requirements are met while engaged.
